Point taken
Oastler Lake Provincial Park offers a 100-metre-long beach and it’s really close from the highway (a good occasion to dip into the water before heading back home at the end of a visit to Parry Sound). But what really appealed to me was the potential camping experience (especially for beginners). The campgrounds at Oastler Park are not very private. In addition, the main railway line runs nearby and you will hear the trains loud and clear. It’s hard to truly forget about civilization. But all this won’t mean a thing to your young adventurers when they see the lake through the trees of Point Campground, the radio-free strip of land with great Canadiana view to the bay.
