The meadow-like atmosphere of Playground Paradise (included in the Flemingdon Park Community Centre) will brighten up any gloomy day. I really love the great painted birch forest. Two-thirds of the space is occupied by a two-storey play structure designed to get muscles working. Children can circulate underneath it. I was charmed by several of the place’s original features: a zip line, a distorting mirror, big punching bags and more. Vinyl shapes were used by children outside of the structure to build shelters. There are only a few benches for parents to sit on. You might as well join the kids on the play structures! Since my last visit, they’ve added a small treehouse for the younger kids.
