A real bargain

When with young children, you can't expect much more for your money than what you get at Kidstown Water Playground in Scarborough. When we visited, there were spurting whales, a water slide that ends in a wading pool, a large pirate boat armed with water pistols and corridor of spraying rings to navigate; enough to thrill any child 8 years and under. (Older ones will be excited as well if they've not recently been spoiled by a visit to a larger water park.) Since then, they've added a dumping bucket and taken away the big sand box. The overall site covers approximately 2,000 sq. ft. and is surrounded by a grassy area with benches and picnic tables. Beyond the fenced area, there is a colourful playground and a lovely grass hill down which my little stuntman and his new pals happily rolled.

been there a few times this summer and my kids can't get enough! It's easy access by ttc and driving, plus it's FREE!!! I saw a bunch of birthday parties and will be planning that for next year!

The staff is much too inexperienced in order to properly supervise children. One member yelled at my then 4 year old daughter and made her scared for no good reason.
