Dusk Dances 2017 in Withrow Park: Monday August 7th to Sunday August 13th

Going to the park takes on new meaning when Dusk Dances is on! The Dusk Dances locations vary from one year to the next but you can always count on the festival to be visiting Withrow Park. It is my favourite park to enjoy Dusk Dances in Toronto. Its gorgeous natural setting really adds to the pleasure and it allows for more creativity on the part of the dancers. This said, note that it is worth following Dusk Dances through the different parks to see how the choreographies are adapted in different spaces. You might also see different dance companies performing in each park.

In 2015, Dusk Dances is presented in Peterborough (July 23-26, Rotary Park), Hamilton (July 31-Aug 1, Bay Front Park), Toronto (Aug 3-9, Withrow Park), Pickering (Aug. 14-16, Alex Robertson Park).
