Kids will be kids:
Don’t be concerned about them getting dirty when doing an outing in the nature or at the farm. Simply bring a change of clothes (or a towel to protect your car seats). Dirt is actually good for the kids!
Let them play with sticks! Don’t you remember how irresistible sticks are?
Don’t worry. I’ve never seen a child getting poked in the eye and my guys were quite energetic. Just teach them to watch for their neighbour. (Someone wrote a book titled: A Stick Is an excellent Thing)
Let them explore at their own rhythm. See what attracts them and follow. Resist the temptation to explain everything. Watch them discover something new by themselves. (This mom created a tradition of Exploring Time with her family.)
